Harmony Science Academy-El Paso is a state exemplary public charter school. Harmony Science Academy-El Paso was established in 2006 in El Paso and has approximately 700 students in grades K thru 11. The school will continue to expand grades K thru 12 within 1 year. Harmony Science Academy-El Paso is a member of the Harmony School System which consists of 25 campuses in the state of Texas. The Harmony School System offers a challenging curriculum and excels in both standardized test scores and academic competitions. All Harmony Schools are tuition-free and offer parents a welcome alternative to the Public School System.
The Harmony Science Academy-El Paso Robotics Team has been participating in FLL Competitions and qualified to represent the United States in the European Open Championship Robotics Competition that was held in Denmark last year. Harmony Science Academy-El Paso was one of only six teams representing the United States in this International event. The success of the students at Harmony Schools is based on a program which emphasizes academic excellence while motivating student achievement. The Harmony School model is rigorous (prepares students for college), relevant (reinforces math and science skills) and is underpinned by a tight web of relationships (a strong culture reinforced by teachers and parents). Harmony attributes its strong outcomes to three core principles within the school model: a challenging math and science curriculum supported by theory; a focus on assessment; and a culture of constructive competition, discipline and parental engagement. Harmony utilizes technology across all of these dimensions to reinforce its school model and curricula. |
